An attack was launched on the March for Unity convoy, organized by the anti-discrimination student movement, in Mollahat, Bagerhat. On Tuesday morning (December 31), 25 buses carrying students left Khulna for Dhaka. Upon reaching the Madrasaghat area of Mollahat, local miscreants pelted the vehicles with bricks and stones, forcing the buses to stop and assaulting several individuals. As the students resisted, the situation escalated into a violent clash, turning the area into a battlefield. Reports indicate that 20 people were injured during the hour-long confrontation. Police and the army are working to restore order.
