Assets of Former MPs Who Fled, to Be Sold to Clear Workers’ Due Salaries, says Labour Adviser

Labor and Employment Adviser Brig. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain announced that efforts are currently underway to issue Interpol red alerts in order to bring back former ministers, MPs, and factory owners who have fled the country without settling workers' unpaid wages. The authorities are in the process of arranging the sale of their properties, including homes, cars, and land, to ensure that the workers receive the wages they are owed. The adviser condemned the long-standing exploitation of laborers by factory owners with political connections, stressing that it is crucial to protect the rights of both workers and employers.
