The As Sunnah Foundation is being awarded the Climate Impact Project of the Year Award for its groundbreaking efforts in rehabilitating victims of the northern region following the August floods this year. Simultaneously, the Feni District Volunteer Family is receiving the Local Climate Resilience Champion Award for its various volunteer activities, including rescuing victims of the devastating floods in Feni. These two organizations, along with seven others, will receive their awards at the Environment Innovation Summit and Awards ceremony, organized by the youth environmental organization Mission Green Bangladesh and JCI Dhaka Metro. The event will take place at the TSC Auditorium of Dhaka University on Saturday (December 28). The Green Content Creator of the Year Award will be presented to content creators Umme Kulsoom Poppy and Abu Saeed Al Sagar for their work on beneficial trees, Sharif Jamil, member secretary of Dharitri Ronne Amara-Dhara under the leadership of an environmentalist, Sohanur Rahman of Youth Net under the leadership of Tarun Alimka, Mahmud Rakib, special correspondent of Now TV in journalism, Environment and Social Development Organization (ESDO) for research, ACI Agro Business for its green initiatives, Shailbrikh for eco-friendly innovation, and Biopharma for its eco-friendly factory.
