Supreme Court Advocate Mohammad Shishir Monir has been appointed to handle the case concerning the murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarwar and Meherun Runi. On Sunday, September 29, Nausher Roman, the plaintiff in the case, shared this update with reporters. In his statement to the media, Advocate Shishir Monir said, "We will initiate efforts to unravel the mystery surrounding the Sagar-Runi murder. This will involve meeting with the investigation officers soon. Concurrently, we will persist in pursuing the legal battle in both lower and higher courts to uncover the truth behind these murders." The investigation report for this high-profile case has been delayed 113 times, with the next hearing set for October 15.
