The atmosphere grew more volatile during his speech, and at one point, a water bottle was suddenly thrown at him, striking him on the head. The unexpected attack forced him to cut his remarks short and leave the scene.
The incident took place around 10 PM on Wednesday (May 14), near the Kakarail Mosque, where Mahfuz Alam was addressing the agitating students gathered close to a police barricade. As he was speaking, a water bottle came flying through the air and hit him directly on the head. With rising concerns over his safety, he decided to end his speech abruptly and exited the area immediately.
