Actress Anjana Rahman passes away

National Film Award-winning actress Anjana Rahman has passed away at the age of 60 on Saturday at 1:10 am while undergoing treatment at BSMMU Hospital in Dhaka. Misha Sawdagor, president of the Film Artistes' Association, confirmed her death. Anjana had been ill for three weeks, initially with mild fever, which later developed into a severe fever and blood infection. After treatment at a private hospital, she was transferred to BSMMU, where her condition worsened, and she was placed on life support. Her funeral prayer will be held at FDC this afternoon.
