Clashes erupted between students of Bangladesh Textile University (Butex) and Dhaka Polytechnic Institute in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka. The conflict broke out late on Sunday, November 24, around 10 pm, between students from Butex's Aziz Hall and Dhaka Polytechnic's Latif Hall. So far, five people have been injured, though their identities remain unconfirmed. The cause of the clash is still unknown. Butex professor Sayeduzzaman confirmed the incident but was unable to provide a clear reason for the conflict. Police responded to the scene after receiving reports, but locals stated they had to disperse due to pressure from both sides. The incident has caused widespread panic in the area. As a result of the clash, traffic movement on one side of Tejgaon Industrial Area was halted, leading to traffic congestion on nearby roads.
