Among the deceased, 50 were children. The Ministry stated that the actual casualty figures are likely higher due to individuals trapped under rubble. Since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, a total of 43,259 people have died and 1,1827 have been injured, with women and children making up 56% of those killed in the ongoing operations.
