70 ISKCON devotees were denied entry at the Benapole Immigration Check Post while attempting to travel to India. The devotees, hailing from various districts across the country, gathered at Benapole on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Despite waiting all day on Saturday and until noon on Sunday, they were not permitted to proceed to India. ISKCON member Saurabh Tapandar Cheli stated, "We came to attend a religious event in India, but the immigration authorities informed us that we could not travel." Another devotee shared that their intention was to perform religious rituals in India but was turned away without any explanation.
