5 injured in BNP vs BNP clash in Gazipur

A clash erupted between two BNP factions in Gazipur’s Konabari area on Tuesday morning over control of the jhoot (scrap fabric) business, leaving five people injured. The conflict began when BNP leaders Salauddin and Biplob Khan attempted to take control of the jhoot business at Astro Knitwear Ltd, confronting former BNP leaders Zahidul Islam and Babul Hossain. The altercation escalated into violence, with supporters of Salauddin and Biplob attacking the opposing group using local weapons. Konabari Police's Officer-in-Charge Nazrul Islam mentioned that the police were on-site but downplayed the severity of the incident.
