Md Shariful Hasan Shuvo, leader of the 35 movement, expressed gratitude towards the government for publishing a gazette raising the job application age limit from 30 to 32 years. On November 19, he announced the end of the movement during a unique milk-bathing ceremony at Dhaka University’s Curzon Hall. Shuvo highlighted that students had been protesting for 12 years to extend the age limit, and the government formed a committee in response to their movement and political party recommendations. Following the committee's advice, the government issued the gazette on November 18, fulfilling students' long-standing demand. The Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs confirmed the age limit increase for government jobs, autonomous, and related organizations, set at 32 years, excluding defense and law enforcement posts.
