Three BNP-affiliated organizations—Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Swechchasebak Dal, and Chatra Dal—launched a long march towards Agartala today, protesting the recent attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. The incident involved the vandalism and burning of the Bangladesh flag during a rally demanding the release of an Iskcon leader. The march began at 9 am from the BNP central office in Nayapaltan, following a rally addressed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. Along the way, the march will make stops in Bhairab and Kishoreganj, eventually culminating in a rally in Akhaura. On December 8, similar protests were held against the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, where a delegation submitted a memorandum after being stopped by law enforcement.
