Last year, Jasmin Khatun, at just 13 years old, successfully stopped her own child marriage with the support of her teachers. Despite facing financial hardships and family pressure, she stayed committed to her education and recently achieved first place out of 29 students in her annual exams, advancing to the ninth grade. Jasmin is also skilled in poetry, art, singing, dancing, and debating, having won several school competitions. Her mother, who initially arranged the marriage, later recognized her mistake and now celebrates Jasmin’s accomplishments. Jasmin dreams of becoming a teacher to help underprivileged students like herself stay in school. Her teachers are confident in her bright future.
