13-Year-Old Boy Dies in Pickup Crash; Crowd Loots Fish Beside His Lifeless Body in India

A seventh-grade student, Ritesh Kumar, also known as Goldi, died after being hit by a speeding pickup truck near Jahajhat village in the Pupi police station area. Ritesh, the son of Santosh Das, was on his way to morning coaching classes when the accident occurred, killing him instantly at the scene. The pickup truck, which was carrying fish, skidded off the road after the collision. Instead of helping the victim, local onlookers allegedly began collecting the fish from the vehicle. Police from the Pupi station later arrived, dispersed the crowd, took custody of Ritesh’s body, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
