The World Bank approved $700 million for two projects to support Bangladeshi host communities and Rohingya refugees. The Inclusive Services and Opportunities (ISO) Project and the Host and Rohingya Enhancement of Lives Project (HELP) will address both immediate and long-term needs. The ISO Project will focus on health, education, and gender-based violence prevention, benefiting 980,000 people and educating 300,000 Rohingya children. The HELP Project will improve basic services, climate-resilient infrastructure, and disaster shelters for 645,000 people. These initiatives build on previous World Bank support, totaling over $40 billion to Bangladesh.
