An American woman, Cherish, was allegedly scammed into purchasing artificial jewellery worth Rs 300 for Rs 6 crore by a jeweller and his son in Jaipur. Nearly two years ago, she bought the jewellery from Rama Radium in Gopalji Ka Rasta, receiving a hallmark certificate for its purity. Upon returning to the US and displaying the jewellery at an exhibition, she discovered it was fake.
