Moana and Maui Set Off on a New Adventure in First Trailer For Moana 2

Walt Disney Animation Studios released a teaser for Moana 2, featuring Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson returning as Moana and Maui. The sequel follows them on a new ocean adventure three years later, responding to a call from Moana’s wayfinding ancestors. Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller, with music by Abigail Barlow, Emily Bear, Opetaia Foaʻi, and Mark Mancina, the film debuts on November 21, 2024. Originally planned as a Disney+ series, the sequel is distinct from the live-action adaptation in development.
