In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina talked about managing the Teesta River and renewing the 1996 Ganga Water Treaty. PM Modi mentioned that a technical team will visit Bangladesh soon to discuss the Teesta River.
