Kenyan police have apprehended Brian Mwenda, a fake lawyer who misrepresented himself as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having won 26 cases. According to the Nigerian Tribune, Mwenda handled cases in front of various judicial authorities, including Magistrates, Court of Appeal Judges, and High Court judges. Despite his lengthy tenure, doubts about his credentials emerged only after his recent arrest. The Rapid Action Team of the Nairobi Branch of the Law Society of Kenya detained Mwenda on false pretenses following numerous public complaints.
