India, the champions, received 2.45 million US dollars, or 29 crore taka, and approximately 20.37 crore rupees in Indian currency. In addition to the championship prize, India earned bonuses for each match won, securing victories in three group stage matches and three in the Super Eight. Each win brought them around 26 lakh rupees, totaling 1.69 crore rupees. Overall, India received 226 million rupees in the ninth T20 World Cup.
