Hundreds of thousands of Israelis gathered in multiple cities, including Tel Aviv, to protest and demand a ceasefire in Gaza as well as a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. The demonstrators blocked major roads, set tires on fire, and rallied outside the residences of top government officials. They urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ensure the release of hostages, even if it meant pausing the ongoing war. Families of captives also participated, filling Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square and nearby streets with their calls for action.
