The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has introduced the "GCC Grand Tours," a comprehensive tourist visa akin to the Schengen visa, allowing travelers to explore all six Gulf nations for more than 30 days. This initiative aims to boost tourism and streamline travel within the GCC region, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The unified visa is expected to significantly enhance the tourism industry and attract more hotel guests, positioning the Gulf as a premier destination for regional and international tourists. UAE Minister of Economy, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, announced the visa following unanimous approval from GCC states, projecting a record 128.7 million visitors by 2030.
