14-year-old Bangladeshi Manon Reja Neer beats Israeli Grandmaster in Chess Olympiad

Bangladesh's FIDE Master Manon Reja Neer made headlines by defeating Israel's Grandmaster Gorshtein Ido, who holds a 2523 rating, at the World Chess Olympiad. However, Grandmaster Enamul Hossain Rajib had withdrawn prior to the match as Israel was Bangladesh's opponent in the tenth round. Of the four boards, three matches were played, with Israel receiving a walkover on one board.
