A Supreme Court lawyer has sent a notice to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate retired Supreme Court Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik for non-payment of government house rent. The notice states that Manik occupied a government house in Gulshan for over a year after retirement and failed to pay Tk 14 lakh 19 thousand 200 for rent, gas, and water bills. The ACC is asked to report within seven days and if action is not taken, an application will be filed in the High Court.
