Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel announced that due to severe floods in Sylhet, the HSC and equivalent exams will be postponed in affected areas. He assured adequate preparation, monitoring weather forecasts, and river water levels to ensure students' safety and a fair examination environment. Priority is given to examinees' convenience, aiming to prevent any adverse impact on their results. The exams, initially set for June 30, involve 14,50,790 students from various boards, to be conducted across 2,275 centers in 9,463 institutions.
