Temporary suspension for inspector who gripped a student's face during March For Justice

Police Inspector Arshad Hossain, an unarmed officer at Dhaka Police's Shahbag station, has been temporarily suspended for grabbing the face of a student named Nahidul Islam during a quota agitation. Inspector Arshad Hossain grabbed the face of Nahidul Islam, a student of political science department of Dhaka's New Model Degree College, during the 'March for Justice' program of the student movement on July 31. The DMP said Hossain's suspension was due to his unprofessional actions and negative public impression of the police. There are numerous complaints against Hossain, who also referred to the agitating students as Jamaat-shibir and posted a video on Facebook.
