Students from private universities like North South University (NSU) and BRAC University in Dhaka blocked roads in Badda, Merul Badda, and Bashundhara areas today, demanding quota reform. BRAC University students initiated the blockade around 10:30am, while NSU students protested near their campus in Bashundhara. Police were deployed in these areas. The blockade on Badda to Kuril Highway caused significant traffic disruptions, diverting travelers through alternative routes like Hatirjheel. Students from IUBAT and Independent University also joined the demonstrations. Road closures from Rampura to Kuril Highway were reported due to the ongoing protests.
