Sheikh Hasina Calls on Public to Aid Flood Victims

Sheikh Hasina, the ousted Prime Minister and Awami League President, has urged the people of Bangladesh to stand by the people who have been endangered by recent floods. She expressed deep concern over the situation and called on the countrymen to support the flood victims. She also called upon the party's associates, fraternal organisation leaders, supporters, and rich people from various social and cultural classes to come forward. Sheikh Hasina said that in the past years, she supported the flood victims and managed the situation successfully due to the efforts of Awami League leaders and allied organizations. She also instructed everyone to prepare for the flood in the first week of last July. Sheikh Hasina expressed condolences to the family members of the flood victims and urged them to be patient.
