Bangladesh Railway has enhanced comfort on the Dhaka-Cox's Bazar route by introducing sleeper coaches on their trains, previously offering only AC and non-AC chair coaches. Available from June 1, tickets now include AC berths and seats, catering to longer journeys. The Cox's Bazar Express offers AC berths, featuring six double cabins and 15 single cabins. Meanwhile, the Parjatak Express provides AC seats with 12 double cabins and nine single cabins, albeit not suitable for lying down. This upgrade, including three AC sleeper cars per train, aims to improve passenger experience during the approximately nine-hour journey.
