In a Facebook post, Pinaki Bhattacharya stated that Professor Yunus should step down and transfer authority to the BNP. He suggested that the BNP should establish a caretaker government, conduct the national election on its own, and lift the ban so that the Awami League can take part in the polls. According to him, the Awami League should participate as the opposition party. He also mentioned that there is no need for parties like the NCP, Jamaat, or AB Party to take part in the election. He proposed that the election should be held next month and that the BNP should be given the opportunity to run the country so that people can observe how they manage it.
Pinaki further added that this is exactly what Walker, India, and the BNP have been aiming for—and they have now achieved it. He concluded by saying, “We will just respond by saying, ‘It’s fine, it’s fine.’”
