State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak announced a Tk 100 crore state-of-the-art nano lab at Buet, approved by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, with the tender process underway. Speaking at the Institute of Robotics and Automation's inauguration at Buet, Palak emphasized extending robotics education to all educational levels and developing skills in robotics, microchip design, AI, and cybersecurity, as directed by Prime Minister's ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy. He stressed the need for university-industry collaboration and entrepreneurial mindsets to achieve a smart, innovative Bangladesh. The event was led by Buet Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Satya Prasad Majumder.
