Oman to partially open visas for Bangladeshi nationals

The government of Oman plans to resume issuing visas for Bangladeshi nationals in twelve specific categories, including family, medical, and professional visas. This decision comes after a significant decline in Bangladeshi arrivals following a blanket visa ban imposed in October 2023. The ban, affecting all visa categories for Bangladeshis, was implemented by the Royal Oman Police. However, the Bangladesh Embassy in Muscat assured the public that the ban would be temporary.
