Notre Dame students reject the decision to cancel HSC, call for protest

Due to student agitation, the Ministry of Education has canceled the HSC and equivalent examinations. The students of Notre Dame College have called for a movement against the decision, stating that the decision was unilaterally made without consulting all parties. They argue that the decision to devalue the merit of hardworking students without taking exams is absurd. The students have presented three demands. The demands are that the situation arising should be brought to a favorable state as soon as possible, and the HSC-2024 exam should be organized. The list of students in the HSC-2024 batch injured in the anti-discrimination movement should be published as soon as possible, and measures should be taken in consultation with their representatives to protect their interests. They also demand that future injured students not face discrimination from other students. The students of the Notre Dame College 2024 batch will hold a sit-in program in support of these demands, which will take place in front of the Notre Dame College Gate of Motijheel today.
