Controversial singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel has been arrested in connection with a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday (May 20) by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
According to him, Mainul Ahsan Nobel was taken into custody by the Demra Police Station in relation to allegations of violence against women.
