A feature film about Bangladesh National Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia has been announced, following the change in government on August 5. The film, titled "Mother of Democracy," has been registered with the Directors' Guild by director MK Zaman and is being produced by Akand Entertainment PLC. The script is reportedly finished, and pre-production work is underway. Shooting is set to begin on September 25. The film's permission, funding, title, script, and shooting date have been finalized, but the makers are not yet revealing who will play Khaleda Zia's role. The film was officially registered with the Directors' Guild on August 18.
