The incident occurred at DNCC Hospital in Mahakhali, Bangladesh, on Monday. Professor Robed Amin was appointed as the Acting Director General of the Directorate of Health on Sunday. Nurjahan Begum attended a meeting with the new DG and officials at DNCC Hospital. Doctors demanded the resignation of the new DG and ADG. A dispute arose, leading to Nurjahan Begum's embarrassment and creating a security risk. Students, including Akhtar Hossain, attempted to control the situation. After an hour of ruckus, army personnel arrived and health advisers Nurjahan Begum and department officials left the hospital.
