Fifteen people have died, and 4.8 million people have been affected by a flood in 11 districts since August 20th. The flood-affected areas include Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Feni, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria, and Lakshmipur. As many as 887,629 families have been stranded, and 188,739 people have been given shelter. Taka 35,200,000 (cash), 20,150 tons of rice, and 15,000 packets of dry foods have been allotted. The army, navy, coast guard, BGB, fire service, police, and the Students Against Discrimination movement are working on rescue activities in the flood-hit areas.
