Flat owner kills security guard with car due to delay in gate opening

A car driven by one of the apartment owners struck a security guard at a residential building in Dhaka's East Rajabazar neighborhood this morning (4 July), allegedly because the building's gate wasn't opened promptly, according to police. The security guard was kil*led. According to Md Ahad Ali, the official in charge of the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, the victim has been named as Fazlu Miah, while the owner of the car has been identified as engineer Mofidul Islam. According to him, the incident happened at 7:45 a.m. when a white automobile with the license plate Dhaka Metro Ga 376064 attempted to exit the building. Speaking about the situation, a building occupant claimed that Mofidul resides in a third-floor flat.
