Education Ministry decided to take out the story "Sharifa's Tale" from the seventh-grade textbook based on a committee's recommendations

The Ministry of Education has opted to eliminate the story titled "Sharifa's Tale" from the seventh-grade history and social science textbook based on recommendations from a probe committee. Prof. Md. Moshiuzzaman, acting chairman of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), disclosed that the ministry recently instructed the NCTB to take appropriate action in response to this decision. He further explained that the ministry's directive specified the replacement of the controversial story with another narrative.
