Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government, does not want to withdraw the case against him using the power. In that case, the Appellate Division has fixed September 2 for the hearing of leave to appeal against the dismissal of the application challenging the legality of the complaint in the case of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Today (Thursday), the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed fixed this day after a partial hearing on the appeal in the case of embezzlement of dividends of about 25 crore tk by the workers of Grameen Telecom. The High Court had previously rejected Dr. Yunus's appeal, challenging the validity of the complaint in the case of embezzlement of dividends by Grameen Telecom employees. Later, Dr. Yunus appealed to the Appellate Division against the order of the High Court.
