Today, a Dhaka court issued an order to confiscate assets acquired through 119 deeds by former IGP Benazir Ahmed and his family members. Anti-Corruption Commission Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir confirmed the development, stating that the assets were obtained under corruption allegations. Judge Mohammed Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court of Dhaka issued the confiscation order, which includes four flats in Gulshan, four old companies, and partial ownership of 15 other companies.
