On Thursday, September 19, from 1:20 PM to 2:20 PM, over 200 students from several local educational institutions blocked the Science Lab intersection and formed a human chain to demand a reduction in the syllabus for grades 6 to 9. The protest began with a march down Mirpur Road, eventually leading to the roadblock at Science Lab intersection, which caused significant traffic disruptions. Participating schools included Dhanmondi Government Laboratory High School, University Engineering School and College, Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public School and College, Ganabhaban Government High School, Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad School and College, Residential Model School and College, BCSIR School and College, among others.
