Chhatra League demands safe campuses; calls for end to 'extrajudicial killings'

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has called for an end to "extrajudicial killings" and the assurance of "safe campuses" nationwide. A press release, signed by BCL Central Unit President Saddam Hussain and General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Enan, was issued and shared with the media today. The organisation, the student wing of the Awami League, voiced concern over recent "extrajudicial killings" involving Tofazzal Hossain at Dhaka University, Shamim Molla at Jahangirnagar University, and Abdullah Al Masood at Rajshahi University. BCL urged the administration and law enforcement agencies to take appropriate action against those responsible for these incidents following a fair investigation.
