Brazil Blocks X

Elon Musk's X social network in Brazil has been suspended by Brazilian Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes following a dispute over disinformation in the country. The decision was made after Musk failed to comply with an order to name a new legal representative for the company. Access to X, formerly known as Twitter, was no longer possible for some users in Brazil. Musk, who also owns Tesla and SpaceX, reacted furiously to the order, branding Moraes an ""evil dictator cosplaying as a judge"" and accusing him of destroying democracy in Brazil.
