BCL members conduct late-night 'search of Rajshahi University hall carrying rods and sticks'

Early today, Rajshahi University’s BCL leaders, including General Secretary Asadullah Hil Galib, searched dorm rooms at Madar Bux Hall, carrying rods and sticks. This occurred around 12:30 AM as students chanted for quota reform. Witnesses reported BCL members using abusive language. Upon noticing students and journalists recording, BCL members stopped their search and left. RU BCL President Mostafizur Rahman Babu was also present. Provost Md Rokonuzzaman acknowledged the illegality of such searches and stated that if evidence is provided, an investigation would follow, but expressed skepticism about video evidence.
