China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang has announced that China will continue to offer duty-free and quota-free market access to Bangladeshi products until 2028. Additionally, this privilege will remain in effect for two years beyond Bangladesh’s transition to a developing country.
During a meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who is currently on an official visit to China, Ding also expressed China's willingness to engage in discussions regarding a potential free trade agreement between the two nations.
The meeting took place on Thursday (March 27) on the sidelines of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference, which is often referred to as the 'Davos of Asia.'
