Hasnat Abdullah, coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, accused the Awami League of creating a separate "religion" in Bangladesh, portraying Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib as a political prophet. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, he criticized the party for imposing Mujibism and turning the Awami League's principles into the country’s constitution. He was joined by coordinators Sarjis Alam, Abu Bakr Majumdar, and others. Abu Bakr Majumdar stated that their movement aims to work for national security while ensuring justice through law enforcement. He emphasized that those involved in killings would be held accountable, and efforts are underway to identify them. The movement plans to prevent extortion and corruption. The central coordinators also announced a 'Shahidi March' to honor victims of violence related to protests, including calls for the government's resignation and job quota reforms.
