Former US President and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Barack Obama, along with 92 other Nobel laureates in fields such as peace, medicine, chemistry, physics, economics, and literature, has sent his congratulations to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who has recently assumed the role of Chief Advisor of Bangladesh's interim government. On Thursday, September 5, Asif Nazrul, the legal advisor to the interim government, shared this congratulatory message on social media. In addition to the Nobel laureates, 106 elected officials, business leaders, and civil society representatives from various countries have also extended their congratulations. The letter reads, "We, the undersigned, are thrilled to offer our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, the newly appointed interim Chief Advisor of Bangladesh. Like the citizens of Bangladesh, Dr. Yunus has faced authoritarianism firsthand. Today, following democratic and student-led protests, the authoritarian regime has been toppled."
