24 teams engage in the sustainable development competition

Over 100 young Bangladeshis aged 15 to 24 took part in the GenU imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge 2023-24 Community Solution Pitch Day, which was hosted by the JAAGO Foundation Trust and UNICEF's Generation Unlimited Programme. The competition comprised 24 teams who presented solutions to climate change and gender equality. Notable efforts include Team Storm Troopers' vertical farming and Team Noibeddo's tea waste recycling. The top teams will compete globally, with the winners getting seed funding. Last year's Bangladesh winner, 'BD Highway Turbine', was in the global top ten and is now receiving mentorship and initial funding.
