13 people died in a collision between a bus and a pickup truck in Faridpur.

A tragic head-on collision on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Kanaipur union, Faridpur Sadar upazila, claimed the lives of at least 13 individuals. Reports indicate that a Magura-bound Unique Paribahan bus collided with a Dhaka-bound pickup, resulting in 11 immediate fatalities, including a woman. Two others succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Additionally, three individuals are in critical condition. Officer-in-Charge Md Salauddin Chowdhury of Karimpur highway police station mentioned that the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. The pickup was reportedly rented by a family returning to Dhaka after the Eid holidays.
